Working with your city or county
Most Florida cities and counties require a traffic control plan as part of the special event permit. We prepare the plan to meet the reviewing agency's requirements, so it fits into your permit application and your coordination with law enforcement.
Common questions
Do I need a traffic control plan for my event?
If your event closes or affects a public road, sidewalk or bike lane, your city or county will usually require one with the special event permit.
Can you plan an event route, like a race course?
Yes. We plan closures and crossings along the full course, including detours and access for the neighborhoods along it.
How early should I start?
As early as you can. Event permits often have submittal deadlines weeks before the event, and the plan has to be ready before you apply.
Planning an event on public streets?
Send us the date, the location or route, and the city or county issuing the permit.
